THE FEAST:

“The Feast” is a cross-disciplinary series of programs addressing
social innovation and new ways to make the world a better place.
Our secret sauce lies in a healthy combination of passion, creativity,
and entrepreneurship to shift the way things are done – thereby
changing individuals, industries, and ultimately the world.

As part of "The Feast Summer Series," All Day Buffet will be
hosting different salons, workshops, and dinners leading up to
"The Feast Conference" on October 1st at The Times Center in
New York City.  Buy your tickets today!

THE FEAST SALONS:

"The Feast Salons" are short talks and insights from remarkable speakers.
No drama.  No ego.  Just intimate conversations on how to change the world.

CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:

Ami Dar // Idealist
Ami Dar is the founder and executive director of Action Without Borders, the organization that maintains Idealist.org. Launched in 1996, Idealist is one of the most popular nonprofit resources on the Web, with information posted by 55,000 organizations around the world, and over 40,000 visitors every day. Ami was born in Jerusalem, grew up in Peru and Mexico, and worked as a waiter, translator, and marketing manager at a software company before starting AWB. In the last four years the Nonprofit Times included Ami in its annual list of the 50 most influential people in the nonprofit sector, and in 2004 Ashoka invited him to join its global fellowship of social entrepreneurs. Ami chairs the board of N-TEN, and also serves on the board of Aspiration and on the editorial board of the Nonprofit Quarterly.

Elmira Bayrasli // Endeavor
Elmira Bayrasli is the Director of Corporate Partnerships and Outreach at Endeavor, a New York-based non-profit supporting high-impact entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Before joining Endeavor, Elmira was the Chief Spokesperson and Director of Press and Public Information at the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. In 1994 she joined the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, working for then Ambassador Madeleine K. Albright. From 1997-2000 she was a Presidential Appointee at the Department of State, in the Secretary of State’s office. She also served on the negotiating team in the Office of the Special Cyprus Co-ordinator. She received her MA from Columbia University and BA from New York University. She has contributed to several books and publications and authored several book reviews and op-eds.

Ben Kaufman // Quirky
Ben dropped out of college because, well, he was smart enough to go from 0 to 60 and get down to business right away...which he first did by condomizing iPods over at mophie. But then he sold mophie and kicked it kluster style, giving mophiesque decision-making power to the people for anything at all (which he still does). And partnered up to start 27 threats on the PR front (which he still does). But with ADD sitting on his shoulder like a pirate's parrot, obviously 2 concurrent businesses weren't enough - so he started quirky (which is why we're all gathered here today). He works so hard he sleeps like a grandpa (8pm to 6am), but with our guidance and care we're starting to make him into the 22-year-old we all know he can be.
